Pike County Forecast -- March 12, 2020

I believe Spring is sprung.

It's almost 59ºF at the Farm with the relative humidity at 99.6%. The wind is barely there but it's out of the South. Let's see -- fog or rain?

The radar shows some showers on I-20 East of Atlanta and some really light rain over Pike County.  It might now even be reaching the surface it's so light.  Indeed, the observation at the Big Airport (aka ATL) is showing visibility at 5 miles, light rain, mist and overcast skies.  So it's rain I guess.

The forecast seems relatively simple for such a complicated surface map.

"Today -- Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 76. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph."'

The only thing to keep your eye on is thunderstorms from the North. They're supposed to stay north of Atlanta but that's the problem with weather --- it's always doing something it's not supposed to.

Enjoy the heat, Summer-lovers.
