Nice Braids

Somebody took some time on this horse's  braids.  And I'm endlessly fascinated by the bits of these photographs that are sharp and bits that are not.  Between the minimum depth of field and the motion I'm never quite certain what causes the fuzzy parts.  You're always shooting on the edge at indoor rodeos.  Minimum f-stop, minimum shutter speed and minimum ISO.
