Gurley Will Fit

It was mostly dull this morning.  And the only spot of interesting sky was above Gurley — with all its  lights shining straight at the mountain.  So I put it behind the black walnut that stands guard at the overlook and fired away.  I can't help but wonder, how much longer Gurley will fit behind a tree.  It grows brighter every day.

From the overlook at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
