Before and After the Snow
You'll have to forgive me. Southerners don't get to play in the snow very often.
I figured I wouldn't be able to get up on Monte Sano this morning so, yesterday afternoon, I did a little scouting in Hickory Cove. It's a property of the Land Trust of North Alabama, pretty close to where I live. (And without any mountains or bridges to cross.) All the white stuff you see on this seasonal waterfall is ice. It went down to 18ºF yesterday morning and the high only made it just above freezing.
