A Grateful Heart

A nice, subtle sunrise on Sunday.  I try to remember to be grateful for what I have -- while I have it.  I suppose it is human nature to always want more.

Some people tell me that religion was created by others to control us.  But I have to wonder if we didn't create it to control ourselves. Surely it is a good thing, to have a grateful heart, and to be mindful of the needs of others.
