Slice of a Barrel
I managed to catch a slice of the barrel anyway.
Even back in the days of "prime lens" snobbery, I alway preferred a zoom lens. I look at the corners when I frame a picture. And I want it framed the way I want it to look. That's because I grew up shooting scenics on slides (transparency film).
Rodeo has upset that apple cart. I struggle to shoot a little "looser" and use the digital cropping of software to fill up a frame. That just leaves me room for improvement.
