(Yesterday) -- John Hopkins CSSE is reporting 7,762,807 cases of COVID-19 in the US as of 5:00 AM, October 12, 2020.

That's 41,530 new cases compared to yesterday's 43,860 new cases.  315 Americans died from COVID-19 yesterday (Columbus Day).
