(Yesterday) -- John Hopkins CSSE is reporting 7,607,249 cases of COVID-19 in the US as of 5:00 AM, October 9, 2020.

That's 57,427 new cases compared to yesterday's 56,518 new cases.  1,003 Americans died from COVID-19 yesterday.
