(Yesterday) -- John Hopkins CSSE is reporting 7,550,731 cases of COVID-19 in the US as of 5:00 AM, October 8, 2020.

That's 56,518 new cases compared to yesterday's 48,914 new cases.  950 Americans died from COVID-19 yesterday.
