Autumn Fawns
I saw them crossing the road on Monte Sano so I pulled into the parking lot, set up my tripod and went around to the back side of the camp store. Sure enough, they popped out of the woods and into the clearing just like I expected. The deer in the park are wary but usually not scared of people that keep their distance.
I was shooting with my normal landscape lens so I'll never win any awards with this pic but people enjoy them and there wasn't a sunrise — what with the dense fog. In Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, Alabama.
