The Limits of a Great Sky
Yesterday was a great sunrise. You could see all the colors of both summer and winter in the sky. But without a good foreground and/or an interesting silhouette, you quickly run into the limits of a great sky when it comes to making a good photograph.
Oh well. It is still a wonder to see in person. And photography has always been another excuse to keep me outside. Monte Sano State Park may not be a great place to photograph a sunrise but it's a great place to see one.
