Red Edge

A red edge appeared on the horizon pretty early this morning at the Monte Sano State Park.  After a summer of orange, it was nice to see. 

It was around 60ºF — much cooler than it has been — and there was a nice breeze.  The birders are out in full force (migration season) so Summer must be ending.  I have survived another one. I'm looking forward to the first frost.
