Pike County Forecast -- Feb. 19, 2020

Did you know the acronym for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration -- NOAA -- is pronounced Noah?  Just a little weather humor to start your day.  (BTW, the "headline" at their site is kind of interesting. If you have the time, click the link.)

Believe it or not, my phone ap (and the weatherman) say it's going to stop raining this morning.  But as you can see from the radar loop, it is just drifting South as the "train" of rain keeps flowing East.

Oh well.  It's currently 58º at the The Farm and it will probably drop down to 55ºF by the time most of you get up.  The wind is currently near calm, predicted to be from the NW at 5 mph. The high (get this) is supposed to be 58ºF.  Yeah. Cloudy all day.

And we're expecting more rain before sunrise tomorrow.

Now, as we know by now, I don't do long-range forecasts.  But I was laughing in bed last night as I looked at them. Snow for Saturday morning and 23º on Sunday morning.  You'll be happy to know both have already disappeared in this morning's (revised) forecast.
