Storm Warnings
The wind was roaring through the trees (you can see blurry branches if you look) on Monte Sano this morning. But the rain stopped long enough for me to get some pictures of the menacing sky.
There are multiple (and ever-changing) storm warnings out for Huntsville. The tornado watch for today is back down to a severe thunderstorm warning — with winds of 50 mph. And then, late this weekend, they're warning about snow followed by a plunge to near 0ºF (-18ºC) on Monday/Tuesday. The South does not do well when temperatures get into the single digits. Our infrastructure just isn't designed to handle temperatures that low.
But I'm excited about the picture possibilities — if I can get out of the house.
