It Never Froze

A beautifully clear morning on Monte Sano.  Of course, that means the sunrise is really dull.  So, I got to thinking.

#1 Flickr stuck the idea in my head.  A similar shot was my most-viewed shot from 2023.

#2 A buddy keeps telling me it's not as warm on top of the mountain as my thermometer says it is.

#3 I was bored.

So I pulled the wine glass out of the photography-prop box, poured some water in it and waited for it to freeze.  I thought  some frost would look cool on it.  It never froze.  It was 35º according to my thermometer. Huh.
