The Cold Winter Sun

The cold, winter sun lights up one of the cabins at Monte Sano State Park.  

The Civilian Conservation Corp built about a dozen of them at Monte Sano back in the late 30s.  They are still in use today.  (Warning:  There is nothing luxurious about them. They are bare-bones functional.)  They sit on the eastern edge of the mountain so they have some pretty good views of Northern Alabama.
