Fog On the Mountain

The top of Monte Sano was covered in fog this morning.  Or, as the weatherman said, extremely low  stratus clouds.  Call it what you will, when you're in it, it's fog on the mountain.  It was the darkest morning I've experienced on the mountain.  I couldn't see a star and I couldn't see a street light in the valley.  I miss the darkness of rural places.
