Top Layer Turned

It was an unusual sunrise this morning.  It started early, with a lot of light in the sky, but with hardly any color. It felt like I was shooting with a Black & White review screen.  But finally, very close to sunrise, everything lit up.  You can see the "black" cloud down low.  That's how it was most of the morning.  But getting the "orange" cloud in the middle while the top layer turned "red" was pretty cool.

From the overlook at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
