Curiosity Got the Best

I went back to Big Spring Park to refine the shot I got in the light tunnel from the day before — and I did — but Mother Nature changed my mind for me.  You see, when I got in the tunnel and set my shot up (right at sunset) the sky was almost clear.  There were a couple of small, nearly-perfect clouds floating by but mostly clear.  Then the eastern sky kept getting darker and darker.  I couldn't see most of the sky and, finally, my curiosity got the best of me.  I got up off the ground, walked out  and saw this.

The windows in all the buildings were all still aglow from the western sky but dark clouds had moved in from the north.  As you can see, the effect was quite dramatic.

Big Spring Park is in Downtown Huntsville, Alabama.
