Cold Spring Winter Waterfall

Cold Spring Creek got a lot of rain to feed it so I walked the short distance from the parking lot to it and spent about an hour trying different compositions and combinations yesterday.

There's not a lot of wiggle room — the forest floor is nothing but rock and tree roots with a 60-70% grade on the right side of the frame.  20 years ago I would have taken more risks but Jimmy Buffet's words ring in my ears, "Brittle bones don't bend".

I can't explain why I wound up with this frame but here it is.
