You Have to Show Up -- 102,521

There wasn't the first hint of the Sun when I arrived this  morning.  About 45 minutes before sunrise, I first noticed this sliver of light on the far horizon.  There wasn't much to hope for.  But you just never know.  And if you want to know, you have to show up.  There is simply no substitute.

The Sun peaked through this crack for 3 minutes and then it was gone again.  From the overlook at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
