What Leaves?

I'm still waiting for Fall in Alabama.  As you can see, green is still the prominent color -- although a lot of leaves have just fallen down brown.  We'll see what happens.

Anyway, I had to drive to Virginia for a wedding and I took time to do 50 miles or so of the Blue Ridge Parkway — between Roanoke and Lexington. To me, it looks like a bit of a dull year.  The color was better at 2,000 ft. than 3,000 ft.  It's not terrible.  And it may turn off pretty yet.  But it was an overcast day and I never pulled the camera out of the bag.  Now it's supposed to rain for the trip back home.  You roll the dice and take your chances.
