All Grow'd Up

Playing favorites.  This is the first girl I ever photographed at a barrel race. (I think.)  I was roaming around a local arena, without a clue in the world about barrel races, and bumped into her grandfather.  We used to work together.  

I didn't get anything I'd publish on that day but we've had a few pictures come out okay since then. I never imagined I'd watch her (and many others) grow up through a camera lens.  Nor how bittersweet it is.
