What a Morning!

I woke up at 3:30AM just because that's what my body does now.  Then I remembered there was a lunar eclipse. Well, there was no going back to sleep after that. And I get up at 4 AM anyway, so there's that.  Off we go.

I could see the Moon on the drive to Monte Sano so I just pulled off at an empty field and shot a few exposures, then drove on to Monte Sano.  Note to self, there's an observatory on Monte Sano.  Just in case you might ever want to observe the night sky.  Duh.

Anyway, I got to Monte Sano just a few minutes earlier than normal but the Moon had already been lost to clouds. However, the sunrise was just starting.  I didn't get any walking in.  I was taking pictures from an hour before sunrise until about 15 minutes after.  What a morning!
