The Parking Lot
Why it it the best color of Fall is always in the parking lot? This has been the best spot on Monte Sano for the entire Fall season. It's where the Bankhead Highway joins the Bankhead Trail up to the summit of Monte Sano — where I park to walk up the trail. The color is fading but it's been great for a least a week.
