Out of Reach

The air is thick in the Pacific Northwest.  Everything seems muted when the Sun is low.  It makes for some interesting light but it doesn't feel familiar like it does back home. The scenery was spectacular — everywhere I looked — but it always seemed just out of reach for the camera during what we call the "golden hour".

This is from the morning when we were sailing into Victoria, B.C.
