Unbelievable

Most people will look at this and find it unbelievable. They expect photographs to be unreal now. They'll think I used some filter.  Or it was photoshopped.  "Processed".  Or whatever.  But it's straight out of the camera.  It's the light that was unbelievable.

As I always tell people, some of the best pictures I've ever taken were on the edge of a storm — because the light can be so dramatic.

And as I've been telling people even longer, the truth is important.  So very important.  In more ways the most people can imagine.

The Huntsville Museum of Art glows in the sunset after a storm passes over.  From Big Spring Park in Downtown Huntsville, Alabama.
