Goodbye Gurley

There was an end-of-the-world sky above Gurley, Alabama this morning.  But I bet Gurley will still be there tomorrow — right in the middle of my sunrise.  Along with the trees that have grown into my overlook view this year.  It's really frustrating — having a sky this beautiful for nearly an hour — trying to find a composition without city lights or a stray branch in it.

From the overlook at Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
