Welcome to Stone Cuts

While I was out photographing the bluebells on the Sinks Trail this morning, a friend (?) talked me into hiking through the Stone Cuts.  Bear in mind, I'm on the wrong side of 60, hauling a big tripod and a back pack. It was above 60ºF and this area of Alabama is known for the multitude of timber rattlers.

It was interesting.  I'll give him that. But I think I'll wait for colder weather before I go back.
