Phlox Under May Apple

Wild blue phlox blooms under a bunch of may apple plants along the Cold Springs Trail in Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, Alabama.  Again, I'm new to Alabama but, it looks like this will be a banner year for may apple.  They are everywhere along the north side of Monte Sano.
