It Might Look Cool

It might look cool, but it is not. It hit 97ºF (36ºC) today in Huntsville.  But, as we like to say in The South, "It ain't the heat that gets you, it's the humidity".  The heat index hit 109ºF (42.7ºC).  Even at 6:40AM (when this was taken) it's hot.

Just as an aside, I shoot this picture almost every day, as I walk up the Bankhead Trail.  It's something about the leaning tree and the curve in the road.  I don't really know.  But it always gets my attention and I always need the break from walking up the mountain.
