Miss This View

There wasn't a cloud in the sky at the overlook on Monte Sano this morning.  It went down to 20ºF and the wind was blowing.  I admit it — I hid out in the truck for much of the morning.  I try to rest my legs on Sundays and if you're not walking, it's hard to keep warm.  Anyway, the sunrise was as dull as you'd expect with no clouds.  But once the Sun was up, the light was spectacular.  As I'm making a lot of pictures of Logan Point (in the middle of this photograph) I started wondering, "How did I miss this view?" on all the other mornings I've been out here.  That's when it hit me, the maintenance crews cleared all the brush out below the overlook yesterday.  Thanks guys!
