Jumpin' for Somethin'

I'm not a birder so I can't tell you why they are jumping but I watched several Sandhill Cranes jumping up and down in front of each other at the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge near Decatur, Alabama. 

There are an estimated 20,000 Sandhill Cranes that spend the winter here.  I posted the picture of the American White Pelicans the other day.  There are thousands of ducks and geese that spend the winter here too.
