Long Straightaway

I don't know why I never noticed it before but that's a pretty long straightaway for an ex-mountain road.  Maybe it's all the tree litter covering it that made it catch my eye.  (I think the seeds (?) are from the tulip poplars along the road.)

It took a long time to get the shot.  Because it's so straight for so long walkers, runners and bikers were coming and going the whole time.  (Of course I took pictures.)  It was overcast and breezy so there was nothing to be done about the trees blowing around.  But I was really just after the color anyway.
