Life & Death in the Forest

The fallen tree allowed the Sun to shine onto the forest floor which gives the flowers enough light to bloom.  If you look real close, you can see a bee on the biggest flower. 

Along the Bankhead Trail, Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, Alabama.
