A pair of sandhill cranes pass through the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge outside Decatur, Alabama. And just because I'm a public policy nerd…from Wikipedia:
"In 1938, the refuge was established by executive order of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and became the first NWR to be overlain on a multipurpose reservoir."
