Another Beginning

The beginning of another day on Fagan Creek at the beginning of the Wildflower Trail.

I think this was the original piece of property to be protected by the Land Trust of Northern Alabama.  The Wildflower Trail starts at the end of a dead-end street in a residential neighborhood of Huntsville, Alabama.  You're not looking at the deep, dark wilderness here.  This is a 100 feet from somebody's front yard.  (Yes, I do try to be very quiet this early in the morning.)

The Land Trust is one of the best things about Huntsville (to me).  I've said it before and I'll say it again:  They are worthy of your support.
