Pike County Forecast -- March 31, 2020

It's a pleasant 56ºF out at the Farm with the relative humidity at 78%.  The wind is calm.  The robot at Hampton says it's overcast but the humans at ATL tell me it's 7,500 overcast and 8,500 overcast.  Something will have to change if I want a decent sunrise.

Yikes!   Batten down the hatches.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible before that thing gets here but it's the thing you want to know about. Somewhere around 2 PM the weather people are expecting a line of thunderstorms to push through along with the cold front.  Some storms could be severe. And, there's a slight risk of an isolated tornado.

It other words, it's Spring in Georgia and  it's going to come up a bad cloud this afternoon.  If you're from around here, it's life.  If you're not, it's a little scary.

I'd check on the radar again at lunch and see what the weatherperson has to say at Noon.

Oh yeah, the high today will be 65ºF and as soon as this thing blows through (oh yeah, it'll be rainy and windy) the wind will blow, the skies will clear and it'll get cold tonight.  In the 40s. It's called a Cold Front for a reason.
