Pike County Forecast -- March 18, 2020
Here we go again...
It's a warm 58ºF out at Bledsoe Farm. The relative humidity is 99.9%. What little wind there is is out of the East. As the humidity might suggest, the big story this morning is supposed to be fog.
So, dense fog advisory for the morning. Mostly cloudy for the rest of the day. The other conditions of the forecast wouldn't make me think it but the high is supposed to be 78ºF today. And with that much heat and moisture comes the chance of a thunderstorm after 2 PM. There's a 30% of rain in some-form-or-another today. Expect dense fog again tonight.
Once again, with the radar picture quiet (for now), I'm left with the crazy-looking stationary front for the surface map to show you.
All it really means is that things are calm (stationary). But again, as the day heats up expect the atmosphere to bubble like a pot -- showers or thunderstorms.
