I Chose Poorly
I chose poorly. There is no one to blame but myself. It was the end of a long, cold day. I was tired. I had a long walk back to the car and a short drive home. I waited until sundown and then — knowing better — started the walk back to the car a few minutes after sunset.
So when the sky caught fire — 15 minutes later — I didn't have a clear view of the sky. I didn't have my graduated neutral density filter attached. I was unprepared. But I did the best I could with what I had.
