Ignoring the False Sun
The spot above the Sun was on the horizon for about 10 minutes before sunrise. Long enough for me to learn to ignore it and almost miss the real sunrise. Good thing I was already set up.
That is the way it works you know? If you go back in my Flickr feed to the previous June, you're likely to find a picture very similar to this one. If you go to the same place every day, and shoot the sunrise every day, there are only so many compositions that work with the Sun rising in the same place. It doesn't bother me. And I hope it doesn't bother you.
