After Good Friday

There is a maxim in this part of The South:  Don't plant your tomatoes before Good Friday.  The idea being that, no matter how much it warms up, no matter how much you want to believe it's Spring, a frost may come along and kill your newly-planted tomatoes. Until Good Friday. 

It went down to 28ºF this morning. (4 degrees below freezing for you Celsius folks). People forget about the extremes of Global Warming — gradual warming with more-frequent extreme events.   Don't plant your tomatoes until after Easter.
