(Yesterday) -- John Hopkins CSSE is reporting 20,135,308 cases of COVID-19 in the US as of 5:00 AM, January 2, 2021.

That's 294,544 new cases compared to yesterday's 161,188 new cases. 2,330 Americans died from COVID-19 yesterday.
