Pike County Daisies

Nope.  I haven't made it to Arabia Mountain yet.  I just wandered down the road a piece to photograph these daisies on the rock outcrops where I live -- in Pike County, Georgia (USA).   Most counties  of North Georgia has a least a few places where the granite is at the surface.  These wild daisies (Helianthus porteri) have carved themselves a niche in an otherwise hostile environment — bare rock in the Georgia sun.
