It was a dreary morning so I thought I'd "go with it" instead of fighting it. Let me know what you think.
The Flick -- A term used by air traffic controllers to describe a mental model representing the current and future positions of air traffic in a section of airspace. Controllers visualize the paths of multiple aircraft in terms of position, altitude, trajectory and speed. Controllers also refer to this as "having the picture." But the picture moves -- like a movie -- hence the term “the flick.”

I see the light behind the clouds - potential for change - and the scene is evocative of contemplation, stillness and soberness. The blues in the photo are my favorites - a little on the dark, mysterious and shadowy side.
Have you ever seen the work of Steve Borischevsky up in Gloucester, MA? His blog, Shooting My Universe, features a shot with this moodiness every once in a rare while. The only aircraft he features, though, are outfitted with rachis and feathers on their wings.
