Dragon Eyes Gurley

A dragon eyes the little town of Gurley, Alabama.  There is no word yet on how Gurley fared.

The Sun made the briefest appearance on this overcast morning at Monte Sano State Park.

There were 3 photographers there this morning — all in alignment with a view of the rising Sun through a gap in the trees growing into the overlook.  I'd bet you every shot we took looks just alike.  The sky didn't light up at all and you couldn't move left or right without getting a tree branch in the foreground.  Incredibly frustrating.
