Dang Close

I won't call this morning's sunrise one of the great ones I've ever seen — but it was dang close. 

This was taken at 5:41 this morning.  Sunrise wasn't until 6:30.  I had better color earlier but the picture wasn't sharp enough.  I say again, on the best mornings, the color comes out an hour (or more) before sunrise.

From the east overlook in Monte Sano State Park, Huntsville, Alabama.
