Afraid of the Dark
I didn't get many get many shots this morning. There weren't any clouds and the valley fog didn't boil over like it has the last few days. But the shots I did get all have a light in them. Like this one. With just one single light.
I know, I know. Just one single click and it's gone from the picture. If only it were that simple in real life. In real life, it shines all night. Every night. And I've never understood why. I understand we are all afraid of the dark. But don't we like to see the stars? Why don't we turn the lights out when we don't need them?
I hope if you are ever lucky enough to live in the country that you'll think about that. You didn't move to the country to see any street lights. Neither did anybody else.
