On the Way to Braemar
This might be my best photograph of Scotland. At least the kind of photograph I try to get anyway. As I said before, this wasn't a photography trip but my companions are good enough to let me indulge if the opportunity presents itself.
This was from our trip to Braemar so I'm going to guess it was near Auchallater. I know it was on A93 (the Old Military Road) and I'm pretty sure it was before we got to Braemar (coming up from the south). I know it was a part of the Invercauld Estate because that's what the sign said. But I have the felling that covers a lot of territory.
Anyway, heather, sheep, a stone cottage and the hills. I doesn't get much more Scottish than that.
