The Flick -- A term used by air traffic controllers to describe a mental model representing the current and future positions of air traffic in a section of airspace. Controllers visualize the paths of multiple aircraft in terms of position, altitude, trajectory and speed. Controllers also refer to this as "having the picture." But the picture moves -- like a movie -- hence the term “the flick.”

Find 27 Minutes
Sometime today, find 27 minutes of free time to watch this video. I’d suggest (for old people) you watch it instead of the evening news. At the end of those 27 minutes, you’ll be far better educated than if you had watched the evening news. For young people, watch this instead of Tosh 2.0, The Daily Show or The Colbert Report. Just find the time somewhere.
And when you are done -- if you think it worthy -- send it to at least one other person.

I feel so helpless when I watch something such as this because there's no indication that things are moving in the right direction with respect to regulation. Instead, we're being distracted with pseudo scandals such as Fast and Furious which takes our attention away from where it really needs to be.
Matt's book, Griftopia is so good at detailing the financial crises of 2008.
